This one took too long to draw.
It was worth it. We had to draw one design all the way to the end just to figure that it was the wrong track; that one will live as its own artwork another day. Then we made a few sketches that flat-out were not it either. Then, finally, this one. We had and used the lineart for this one in a promotional flyer for a music event, and then we used this version for another music event a few months later.
That’s gold paint on her clothes. It showed up best on her dress, and it’s also on her shoes.
One neat detail: this was one of first and only artworks that we painted digitally for a portion of the work. I see how I can go in and do what we did digitally using traditional materials, so that’s something for me and you to look forward to the next time that I actually make new art.
How soon?
It will be worth it whenever it happens.
Since you’re here, the negative for this one is a sight to see. This is it.

I’d always wanted to make one of these style of cards where the character shows up enlarged behind the central character. First attempt, ok? It came out how it came out.
Still looks good.
What can you see for the character in the future, a new pose, a background, maybe different clothes, or the same ones?
She’s pretty great, and there was enough effort to get her into existence that it would be nice to make her again.
